Ms. Amrenova Aidana, the second-year student of the Disaster and Radiation Medical Sciences, received the best poster award from the 13^th International Workshop on Ionizing Radiation Monitoring. The workshop was held on 2-3 December 2017 and her presentation title was “Cell competition in thyroid gland and radiation effects”.

More 200 specialists in the field of monitoring, regulation science and health effects of radiation participated in this workshop, and 54 posters were presented. Ms. Amrenova Aidana’s presentation was selected as the best presentation among these.
